About me

Hi, my name is Laura Dalton and I have been teaching in Habersham County Schools for 31 years.  I have been a Level Grove Bulldog since the doors opened in 2005. I love this school and I especially love teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. NO, I do not speak Spanish or French or any of the second languages we have in our school.  As an ESL teacher, I get to work with the same students for several years and watch them grow as an English learner. I love building relationships with my students and getting to know their families. 

I have two children of my own. Allie is 19 and is enrolled in Nursing School in South Georgia. Nolan is in his first year at High School in the 9th grade.  We also have the best furry pet ever named Darby. She is a mini golden doodle who is spoiled and we love her. I enjoy spending time with my family and our favorite thing to do is make homemade ice cream. I also love the beach, jeep rides, reading, traveling, concerts, baseball, football, everything outdoors, and cooking.
